When to use it
Use Flash Deploy for an application you can build and run from source. It is the starting point for a first web app without managing an operating system. Your app still needs correct production commands and its own business logic.
What Console provides
The flow brings together deployment configuration, domains, health, logs and metrics. Runtime configuration covers CPU/RAM, ports and environment variables. Release history shows running and failed versions; build/runtime logs distinguish install, build and start failures.
The release flow
Check the active release, configuration and logs when updating an app. Use redeploy or rollback in the relevant service view and verify the public URL after each change.
Step by step
- Prepare a working repo or ZIP, README and production commands. Test the app locally.
- Create a project, open Flash Deploy and choose source, branch and a suitable runtime template.
- Check build/start configuration, CPU/RAM, public port and env. Listen on 0.0.0.0 and match the Console port.
- Deploy; inspect build logs followed by runtime logs. Open the project URL and test the main function.
- Publish an update through the deployment flow, check the active release and keep the last stable version for recovery.
