Starting without server experience
Flash Deploy is a good starting point when you already have working source code. You provide code and configuration; the deployment flow builds and runs the app. You do not need to install Linux for your first deployment.
Know your framework, build/start commands and data requirements. If someone built the app for you, ask for a README, an environment example without passwords and instructions to run it. DLEZ does not write your login, payments or database integration logic.
Choose VPS for a specific operating-system requirement and assign someone to operate it. You do not need to buy a VPS to use Flash Deploy, MySQL or Redis.
A suggested learning path
- Deploy a small app and open its URL.
- Add MySQL when data must survive deployments.
- Add Redis when your code needs caching or sessions.
- Check domains, security, recovery and costs before inviting real users.
